The Vision Pro Will Get an iPad App in Upcoming iPadOS Update
In a significant development for Apple enthusiasts, the recently announced Vision Pro headset will soon feature a dedicated app for iPad users with the upcoming iPadOS update. This news, revealed during a press release, allows iPad owners to conveniently browse and manage Vision Pro content, including apps and games, directly from their tablets. This improved accessibility means that users can queue downloads for their Vision Pro headset without needing to wear it each time.
The Vision Pro app has already been available on iPhone since the launch of iOS 18.4 in April. It offers a curated selection of spatial content, featuring everything from detailed audiovisual meditations to popular travel shows, along with a variety of recommended games and education-focused applications. The iPad version of the app will carry over all of these functionalities, providing users with news, tips on headset usage, and account management features in one seamless interface.
Moreover, Apple recently upgraded the Vision Pro headset, incorporating the powerful M5 chip, which is also found in the new iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. This enhancement brings faster web browsing and improved app loading times. Notably, the M5 chip’s new 10-core GPU significantly elevates gaming performance, while Apple assures users that battery life will be extended with this latest model, which remains priced at $3,499 and is set to ship starting October 22.
As Apple continues to evolve its product ecosystem, the arrival of the Vision Pro app on iPad not only enhances user experience but also solidifies the integration of their devices. Are you excited about the new Vision Pro app for iPad? Share your thoughts in the comments!
