Razer’s New Kiyo V2 Webcams Offer 4K Streaming with HDR

Razer is updating its lineup of creator-focused webcams with two new models, the Razer Kiyo V2 and the Razer Kiyo V2 X. These advanced webcams bring cutting-edge features like AI-powered enhancements and 4K streaming capabilities at competitive prices. The Kiyo V2 is priced at $150, while the Kiyo V2 X starts at $100.

The Kiyo V2 X delivers impressive performance with the ability to capture video at 720p, 1080p, and 1440p at various frame rates, including 60 frames per second for smooth streaming. It features an 83-degree field of view, which can be customized using Razer’s Synapse software. While it lacks the more advanced AI features of its counterpart, it still includes essential functions like auto-focus, a privacy shutter, and a built-in microphone.

For $50 more, the Kiyo V2 utilizes an 8.3MP Sony STARVIS sensor, enabling true 4K HDR recording at 30 frames per second. This model offers a wider field of view at 93 degrees and incorporates auto-framing capabilities through integration with Reincubate’s Camo Studio software. Users can benefit from features like background removal and adaptive lighting correction, enhancing video quality significantly.

Both webcams are ideal for content creators and streamers looking for high-quality video performance without breaking the bank. With prices positioned attractively against competitors, the Kiyo V2 and V2 X stand out as excellent choices for anyone looking to upgrade their streaming setup.

Razer announces that both the Kiyo V2 X and Kiyo V2 are available for purchase today. Do you think Razer’s new offerings will elevate your streaming experience? Share your thoughts in the comments!
